We Need Your Help


We are very proud to have a reputation at South Carolina State Matches for our fair and hard-working staff. We value our RO's and staff. They are the reason we have great matches.

All CRO's, RO's and staff shoot for free. Your work covers the match fee. You are entitled to all the prizes, awards and drawings like any paid competitor. You get a free banquet ticket, and free food and drinks at the range. Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse you for your hotel room or travel. South Carolina is a smaller match, and does not generate the kind of income we would need to cover those expenses.

This year, Match Sponsor Backyard Outfitters will provide uniforms for our match staff.

Please write CRO, RO or STAFF on your application. If you are part of a group that will work a specific stage, just write that in the margin (Example: working the Palmetto Gun Club stage).

Stage Design Awards

Two years ago, we started giving awards to stage designers. It has been very popular, and we plan to continue to recognize the individuals who design great stages. We will give every shooter a ballot, to vote for the best stages. There will be three award categories:

  • Best Decorated Stage

  • Most Challenging Stage

  • Most Fun Stage to Shoot

Awards will be given to stage designers during the awards ceremony following the banquet. We know the success of our match depends on two things; a great staff and great stages. In past years, shooters have been impressed with the creative stage designs. Many stage designers and clubs spend days designing, building and painting stage props. We want to show them how much the shooters appreciate the efforts.
