I would like to encourage everyone to stay at the Match Hotel. They have offered competitors at the SC 2008 State Championship Match a special rate of $ 70.00 per night. Call toll-free 877-308-4986 or 803-736-3000 locally to make your reservations. They are not the closest hotel to the range (about 20 to 30 minute drive, depending on traffic), but they were the most willing to work with our group.

This is the same hotel we used last year. The hotel has undergone an extensive renovation and a change in internal management. The Ramada Northeast Columbia offers all guests complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet and complimentary Full Hot Breakfast. An exercise room, guest laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, Game Room, Basketball Court, indoor Putting Green and Recreation area completes the value provided at the Ramada Northeast Columbia. Every room has an iron and ironing board, coffeemaker and hairdryer. They welcome our business. Support them with yours.

From I-20 East or West take exit 74 and turn left. Take the first right at the
Lizard's Thicket Restaurant.
From I-77 South take exit 17 and turn right. After 0.7 miles, turn left at the light at the
Lizard's Thicket Restaurant.
From I-77 North take exit 17 and turn left. After 0.5 miles, turn left at the light at the
Lizard's Thicket Restaurant.


Saturday Night Banquet

The Shooters Banquet on Saturday night has become a tradition in our state. It was just too hard to find a decent restaurant on a Saturday night, with a table for you and ten of your friends. At the banquet, you get to sit down with everyone you want to see, enjoy a drink, eat, and review the day's shooting. In the past we have had some difficulties finding a room large enough to hold our group. The Carolinian Hotel has facilities to allow us to seat 230 for the banquet.

The hotel has a recreation area near the banquet room. There is a bar, an indoor pool, a game area with pool tables, and even a putting green.

For anyone who prefers a beer or an alcoholic beverage, the bar near the Banquet area will be open to sell all your favorites. All shooters and staff will receive a free banquet ticket if they indicated on the application that they plan to attend. Spouses, friends, and children older than 12 will have to purchase a ticket for $ 20.00 prior to the match.
