We have petitioned USPSA for approval as a LEVEL III (formerly 'tournament') status. Please register early to be a part of our match. We are anticipating the match filling early; we can only accommodate 350 participants.
Stages and Round Count
We have 10 stages consisting of 6 field and 4 speed shoots. Total round count is approximately 246.
Shooting dates and times
Thursday July 10 1pm (staff and vendors), Friday July 11 at 7:15 am and 1pm, Saturday July 12 at 7:15 am and 1pm, and Sunday July 13 at 8:15 am. The match will be shot in a half day format as usual. Shooters meeting will be 20 minutes prior to the start time. Please be on time and ready to shoot!
Shotgun Side Match – Sponsored by Izaak Walton League
The side match will feature 4 stages, consisting of steel and birds, with approximately 50 rounds total. No shot larger than 7 1/4 will be allowed on the range. There will be three divisions, Open, Limited and Pump. Open and Limited will follow USPSA shotgun rules for equipment and round count. Pump division will be any pump action shotgun with no electronic sights, muzzle breaks or compensators. Maximum rounds in pump division at any time will be 5 rounds. You may sign up on your registration form or sign up at the match (if there are any times left!).Shotgun side match times: Saturday 8am to noon, Saturday noon to 4pm and Sunday 8am to noon. Your will be assigned to a squad in the time slot you select and notified of your start time to prevent back ups and people standing and waiting.
Pistol Side Match
New this year is a Pistol Side Match. Using a plate rack of 6 plates, you pay $5 for 3 runs. We are planning on having 2 separate events. One event for 50/50 payback per division and one event for a gun. You can shoot one or both. Details and rules will be available at the match.

From the South
Take I-83 North toward York, PA to Exit 10 (PA 214/Logansville). Turn left onto North St/127 spur. 127 Spur turns into Lake Rd. At a Y, stay right onto Log Rd. Cross the bridge. At the stop turn right onto Iron Stone Hill Rd. Go approximately 1/10th of a mile and the range is on your left.
From the North

Prize Policy
As always the Summer Blast is a fundraising match for charitable organizations. Therefore, this match will award plaques only. The following will be a breakdown of the divisions and class awards: HOA, High Lady, High Junior, High Senior, High Super Senior, High Military and High Law Enforcement in Open, Limited, Production, Limited 10, Revolver and Single Stack. There must be at least 5 participants in each category and division to award high overall.
1st in class M-D for All 6 Divisions (must be at least 5 in class)
2nd in class M-D for All 6 Divisions (must be at least 10 in class)
3rd in class M-D for All 6 Divisions (must be at least 15 in class)
Due to the unknown number of entrants until match day, plaques will be mailed to the winners within 45 days of the conclusion of the match. Should there be any discrepancies, the match director shall have the final approval on all and any awards issued.
Donated Prizes
Any and all prizes that the Summer Blast receives as part of the match sponsorship will be given away in a raffle style drawing at the conclusion on the match. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the match.
Junior Raffle Tickets
Please bring extra money to purchase a junior raffle ticket or two which will be on sale at the match.
Food Items
Food will be for sale on the range. The food will be prepared and sold by the Order of the Eastern Star – Sisters of Charity. Please be sure to stop by and see these great folks and purchase some delicious food items.
Test Firing
Due to time constraints of the match, no test firing will be allowed prior to, during or after the match.
